TM VC score (whales)

This score evaluates the quality of investors (VCs and large whales) that financially supported the project at the time of its token launch.

It is calculated based on ratings assigned to investment funds by the AI of Token Metrics.

These ratings notably take into account:

• the track record of projects funded by each VC,
• their ability to select projects that performed well over time,
• their perceived role as active and supportive investors, beyond simple capital allocation.

Based on the quality of the VCs involved, Token Metrics assigns a global score to the project, reflecting the credibility and relevance of its initial financial backing.

A high score suggests strong institutional backing, while a low score may indicate less experienced or less selective investors.
