The Orders -2% / mcap score is created and calculated by CryptoScores.com.
It is based on the depth of the order book at -2% of the current price, i.e., the volume of buy orders that will prevent the price from falling. It then divides this price by the current capitalization of the project, as it is normal for a large project to have larger amounts in its order book.
The result is a percentage describing the security of the price in the short term.
- A crypto that has a well-stocked order book in terms of buyers is much less likely to see its price collapse compared to other cryptos.
- Conversely, a crypto that has a very low percentage on this score is more likely to see its price collapse more easily than other cryptos.
