Supply change CG 7d

7-day change in circulating token supply

Calculation of the change in supply (number of tokens) in circulation over 7 days.

  • If this percentage is positive, it means that the number of tokens in circulation has recently increased, for example through release to early investors or distribution of rewards. This is a negative situation because it can cause selling pressure and lower the price by reducing scarcity.
  • If this percentage is negative, it means that tokens have been removed from circulation, usually through a process called “burning,” which involves sending tokens to an address for which no one has the private key. This is a positive situation for the price, thanks to an increase in scarcity.
