Buyers/sellers
Ratio of buy orders to sell orders at +2% depth
The sum of pending amounts in buy orders divided by the sum of pending amounts in sell orders, at a depth of +2% relative to the current price, on all centralized and decentralized exchange platforms.
This total amount determines whether the price will have stronger resistance to rise or fall in the next 2% of price variation.
- If this percentage is positive, it means that there are more buyers than sellers. This is beneficial because it makes it more difficult for the price to fall and easier for the price to rise. In technical analysis, this may be a sign that the current price is close to a support level.
- If this percentage is negative, it means that there are more sellers than buyers. This is negative because it increases the difficulty for the price to rise and increases the ease for the price to fall. In technical analysis, this may be a sign that the current price is close to a resistance level.
